Caribbean Water Technologies Environmental Sustainability Pledge
Caribbean Water Technologies, Inc. (CWT) is committed to pursuing practical environmental improvements across its packaged-water and water-technology work. This pledge focuses on actions the company can document publicly rather than broad environmental claims.
Our Environmental Sustainability Pledge
CWT pledges to continue reducing reliance on conventional single-use plastic water bottles through SHORES Premium Boxed Water, to favor packaging and production choices that reduce unnecessary material use where practical, and to continue developing water-purification and monitoring technologies intended to support efficient and responsible water use.
Packaging Approach
SHORES uses an aseptic paper-based carton with a sugarcane-based cap. CWT does not describe the package as plastic-free; carton packaging includes barrier materials. The company instead focuses on the specific material and format differences between boxed water and conventional plastic bottles.
Water Quality and Public Evidence
CWT also commits to making supporting evidence available when the company makes specific product-quality claims. A SHORES water sample was independently analyzed for microplastics, with zero detectable microplastics reported for the tested sample under the laboratory method used.
Water Technology and Responsible Resource Use
Beyond packaged water, CWT develops and deploys water-purification, water-quality monitoring and predictive water-intelligence systems. The company’s sustainability objective is to use better treatment, monitoring and data to support reliable water quality while reducing avoidable waste and inefficient resource use where technically and economically practical.
Transparency
This is a company pledge, not a third-party environmental certification. CWT will distinguish documented facts, independent test results and future goals, and will update public materials as additional evidence becomes available.
